Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted through Hostinger, whose provider location is in
Lithuania. The selected server location is Germany. When the site is
requested, the server processes information including the IP address,
date and time, requested URL, browser and device information, and
technical response data. This is necessary to deliver the website and
recognise faults or attacks. The legal basis is my legitimate interest
in secure and stable operation under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Access logs are available to me in hPanel for up to seven days. I do not
export or retain additional copies.

Audience measurement

The self-hosted WP Statistics plugin is used for basic audience
measurement. IP addresses are anonymised and hashed; tracking cookies,
user-level profiles and transmission to advertising platforms are
disabled. Detailed visit data is automatically aggregated after 30
days; only summary visitor and page-view counts remain. The legal basis
is my legitimate interest in a privacy-conscious understanding of site
use under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Cookies and third-party content

The public portfolio does not use marketing tools, external fonts,
embedded maps or embedded video platforms. WordPress sets technical
cookies for administrators. The documents area uses WordPress-based
password and download controls. Direct public Media Library links are
not used. A technically necessary session identifier may be used while
a protected file is unlocked and delivered. External document previews,
reCAPTCHA and third-party viewer services are not enabled.

Protected document downloads

Download statistics in WordPress Download Manager are disabled. The
site does not keep an individual download history and does not store
visitor IP addresses for document downloads. Temporary session data is
used only to validate access and deliver the requested file and expires
with the session.

Contact

When you contact me by email, I use your contact details and the content
of your message only to respond and for the related professional
communication. The provider used for the email address processes
technical communication data. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) or (f)
GDPR. The data is deleted once the communication is complete unless a
statutory retention duty or a legitimate interest requires it to be kept
for longer.

The LinkedIn reference is a normal external link; no LinkedIn content is
embedded on this website. LinkedIn processes data under its own
responsibility only after the link is opened.

Your rights

You may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction,
portability and objection. You may also lodge a complaint with a data
protection supervisory authority. Questions can be sent to the email
address above.
